She specializes in continuous discovery research, go-to-market strategy, market scan, competitive analysis, and intersectional research design and accessibility.
Sydney is an international researcher whose innovative anthropology research bridges the digital and physical cultural divide. She was awarded her Ph.D. in anthropology from Southern Methodist University in 2021, studying how death practices have emerged and evolved on social media and how that affects the grieving process and user experience for Facebook users. She has been cited in journals around the world and she has consulted both the Joseph Campbell Foundation and UNESCO Digital Anthropology Initiative, sharing insights on emerging digital trends and the social, political, and ethical repercussions of the latest work in AI.
